The Preschool Enrichment Program at the Potter Valley Youth & Community Center provides a nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow. Designed to support early childhood development, the program focuses on building foundational skills through hands-on activities, creative play, and social interaction.
Our program encourages children to explore, develop confidence, and build important social and emotional skills in a safe and supportive setting. Through age-appropriate learning experiences, children are introduced to early concepts in literacy, creativity, and problem-solving while developing positive relationships with peers and teachers.
The Preschool Enrichment Program is committed to creating a welcoming space where children feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn each day.

Program details
Ages: 2 – 5 years old
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
A daily nap/rest time is provided at 12:00 PM to support children’s routines and well-being.
Snacks are provided throughout the day.
Students should bring:
• A packed lunch each day
• A reusable water bottle
A comfortable change of clothes is also recommended
The Preschool Enrichment Program is held on the Potter Valley Elementary School campus and operates as part of the Potter Valley Youth & Community Center. While the program is affiliated with PVYCC, it follows the Potter Valley Community Unified School District calendar and schedule for days of operation.

Enrollement
Enrollment is required to participate in the Preschool Enrichment Program. If you are interested in enrolling your child, enrollment packets are available to pick up and must be completed and returned to secure a spot in the program.

If the program reaches capacity, children may be placed on a waitlist and families will be contacted as space becomes available.
